The Assessment and Evaluation:
The first thing the Coach does is to have the Client complete an evaluation of the business and his business acumen. From the Clients input of information, along with financials, a report is generated that shows the strengths and areas that need improvement. The evaluation tells us where to focus our efforts in order to move the business forward.
Secondly, Ithe Client completes an “Extended DISC” Behavior Profile. This input generates a report that shows where their natural behavior style falls relative to “Thinking vs. Feeling” and “Sensing vs. Intuition”
The Diagnosis:
Once the evaluation is done, selected step-by-step best practices are identified which focus on those areas that are causing the business to be less than effective, and also develop practical action plans to modify the client’s behavior style appropriately to become more effective.
The Client's Vision of the Future:
The Client and key people of his choosing complete an Initial Questionaire over the first three to four weeks of the engagement. This defines the vision and goals for the future of the client and his business. The results are incorporated into the Client's strategic plans for the future.
And the Prescribed Course of Action:
The client and coach collaborate together in a highly interactive partnership for the purpose of reaching the personal and business goals desired.
Meeting weekly over at least a 12 month period, the client and coach focus on how to implement these best practices. The coach acts as a strategic partner who helps the client stay focused while he/she is managing the day to day demands of running the business.
